Mobile information and text-messaging consent

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

All of the categories of information described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign.

This applies to every form of transfer, not only to sale. We do not sell, rent, lease, trade, or otherwise disclose mobile phone numbers or text-messaging consent data to third parties or to affiliated companies for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

One narrow exception exists, and it exists only to protect you: if you opt out, we may share the fact that your number must not be contacted with the messaging vendors and aggregators that carry our messages, so that your opt-out is honored everywhere. Suppression data is never used for marketing.

Information we collect

• Records of messages and calls between you and us, including the date, time, and content of a message.

How we use it

• To contact you about home services offered by the brands we market for.
• To respond when you reply, ask a question, or request that we stop contacting you.
• To maintain a suppression list so that opt-outs are honored.
• To meet our legal, regulatory, and carrier obligations.

Who we share it with

We share information with service providers who act on our behalf and only on our instructions — for example messaging carriers and platforms, email providers, and hosting providers. They may use the information only to perform services for us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

We do not provide mobile phone numbers or text-messaging consent data to anyone for their own marketing or promotional purposes, and we do not collect consent on behalf of any third party.

How to stop hearing from us

Reply STOP to any text message from us and we will stop. You may also email hello@tapoptic.com or write to the postal address below and ask us to stop; we honor requests made by any reasonable means, not only the word STOP. Opt-outs are recorded permanently across every brand we market for.

Retention and security

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes described here or as the law requires, except that suppression records are kept indefinitely so that an opt-out is never lost. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold.

Children

This website and our messaging program are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
